Over the past few summers MLCA representatives have had several conversations with OPP constables responsible for patrolling Manitouwabing Lake.  They have stated that excessive speed close to the shoreline is a major issue, especially among those operating personal watercraft.  Operators seem unaware that travelling in excess of 10 km per hour within 30 metres of the shoreline is an offence that can attract a $100,000 fine or one year in jail [...]
