The Township of McKellar is looking for a swim instructor for the months of July and August. The instructor would be based at the office right behind main building. The position requires a commitment of approximately 35 hours per week and the wage is yet to be determined. The program is registered with the Lifesaving Society. The family oriented Four Winds Cottage Resort, located at the foot of Manitouwabing Lake in Hurdville, is to become a corporation jointly owned by purchasers of the eight cottage properties located on the site announced current owners Mark and Wanda Taylor this week.

Garbage bags and picks will be available free of charge at the Township Office until Friday, April 20th. Please bag refundable bottles plus cans separately from other litter to support the fundraising efforts of our Volunteer Fire Department.
