The McKellar Recreation Committee, along with the McKellar Market, is hosting a Kids Fishing and Fun Day on Saturday, July 11th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Minerva Park in McKellar.  Families with kids will be set up to fish with the assistance of local volunteer fisherman.  There will also be other kids events such as Running, Three-Legged and Sack Races, Tug-O-War, etc.   Come for lunch.

Hurdville Community Club invites you to a pancake breakfast featuring "John's famous Hurdville pancakes with fresh maple syrup and sausages" on Saturday, July 4th,  from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Hurdville Hall.  The breakfast is free with a donation to support the ongoing maintenance of our historic schoolhouse.
